ABOUT
THE SHOW
WE BUILT A TIME MACHINE.
USA, Middlesex, 1988: At first glance, it’s just another suburban town, where everything seems normal—until it isn’t. Donnie Darko, a seemingly typical high school kid, finds his world spinning out of control when a mysterious figure in a rabbit costume named Frank shows up. Suddenly, Donnie is pulled into a mind-bending reality where time loops and parallel worlds collide, and nothing is as it seems.
As Donnie struggles to make sense of his disturbing visions, a 28-day, 6-hour, 42-minute, and 12-second countdown to disaster begins. The lines between what’s real and what isn’t start to blur, leaving you questioning everything.
We’re inviting you to step into Donnie’s world with DONNIE DARKO: THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE. This isn’t just a show; it’s a journey into the dark, surreal corners of a story that has captivated fans for years. Walk in Donnie’s shoes, explore the twisting corridors of time, and see if you can unravel the mysteries that lurk within.
Crafted by a visionary creative team, this production blends powerful storytelling with groundbreaking stagecraft. Expect cutting-edge set designs, jaw-dropping visual effects, and a haunting score that pulls you deeper into Donnie’s world. This is immersive theatre at its most thrilling—an experience you won’t forget.
"28 DAYS, 6 HOURS, 42 MINUTES, 12 SECONDS. THAT IS WHEN THE WORLD WILL END."
